Try these irresistible grilled bacon-wrapped chicken tenders for a delicious blend of smoky and sweet flavors. Opt for center-cut bacon to reduce flare-ups and enhance the experience.
Ingredients:
  • 8 chicken tenders
  • 1 tablespoon BBQ rub (such as McCormick®)
  • 8 slices center-cut bacon, cut in half lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon water
Instructions:
  • Prepare your outdoor grill by preheating it to medium heat and then lightly oiling the grate.
  • Sprinkle chicken tenders with BBQ rub, then carefully wrap each one in 2 strips of bacon, securing the ends.
  • Combine the sweet honey and water in a small bowl, then set it aside.
  • Start by placing the chicken tenders on the preheated grill, then lower the heat to medium-low. Close the lid and grill the tenders, making sure to turn them every 2 to 3 minutes. Cook until the bacon is browned and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (73 degrees C), which should take about 12 to 14 minutes. For extra crispy bacon, increase the heat in the final 2 minutes of cooking.
  • Place the tenders over indirect heat and generously brush with the delectable honey mixture. Once done, plate them up and present a delightful meal.
