Grilled Bourbon-Mustard Tuna

Try this tantalizing grilled sweet and spicy tuna dish for a perfect dinner for two.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 lb tuna steaks (1 inch thick), cut into 2 serving pieces
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon or apple juice
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 medium green onions, sliced (2 tablespoons)
Instructions:
  • Place fish in an 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish. Combine brown sugar, salt, bourbon, mustard, and onions in a small bowl, then pour over the fish. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to marinate.
  • Preheat gas or charcoal grill. Take fish out of marinade and transfer marinade to a 1-quart saucepan for later use. Lightly oil the grill rack with canola oil. Grill the fish over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping once, until it flakes easily with a fork and is slightly pink in the center.
  • Bring the marinade to a boil and then pour it over the fish.
