Grilled Caesar Turkey Burgers

Elevate your burger game by topping it with a vibrant, fresh salad.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. lean ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup purchased reduced-fat creamy Caesar salad dressing
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1 oz. (1/4 cup) shredded fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 4 kaiser or whole grain buns, split
  • 4 thin slices tomato
Instructions:
  • Preheat a contact grill for 5 minutes with the lid closed.
  • In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, parsley, onion salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons of salad dressing until well combined. Form the mixture into 4 patties, each 1/2 inch thick.
  • Once the grill is hot, place the patties on the lower grill surface and close the lid. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until the patties are cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  • Combine lettuce, cheese, and the rest of the salad dressing in a small bowl, tossing to mix. Evenly spoon the mixture onto the bottom halves of the buns. Top with patties, tomato slices, and the remaining bun halves.
