Grilled green beans with onions, bacon, and mushrooms make a mouthwatering summer side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 slices bacon, cut into quarters, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
  • 1 pinch salt-free seasoning blend (such as Mrs. Dash), or to taste
  • 1 portobello mushroom, sliced
Instructions:
  • Get your outdoor grill ready by preheating it to medium-high heat and giving the grate a light oiling.
  • Toss green beans, onion, and bacon in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, add seasoning, and mix well to coat. Transfer to a grilling basket or wok.
  • Once the grill is preheated, grill the green beans mixture, stirring occasionally, until tender, approximately 30 minutes. Then, add the mushrooms to the green beans mixture and continue cooking until tender, about 10 minutes more.
