Ingredients:
  • 1 container (8 oz) garden vegetable cream cheese spread
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 1 loaf (16 oz) French bread, split lengthwise
Instructions:
  • Preheat gas or charcoal grill. Combine cream cheese spread, chives, and garlic in a small bowl.
  • Once the grill is hot, place the bread halves cut side down on the gas grill over medium heat or on the charcoal grill over medium coals. Grill for 1 to 2 minutes until they are lightly golden brown.
  • Place the bread halves, toasted side up, and generously spread the creamy cheese mixture on top. Continue cooking for an additional 3 to 4 minutes, or until the cheese is thoroughly heated and melted.
