Grilled shrimp skewers glazed with garlic butter - the ideal appetizer or party snack!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound 16-20 count large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon minced chives, for garnish
Instructions:
  • Heat up one side of the grill over high heat, leaving the other side cool with no coals or flame.
  • Skewer the shrimp: Thread the pre-soaked skewers through the shrimp starting at the tail and pushing through the middle and end. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt before grilling.
  • Infuse the butter with garlic: Combine butter and garlic in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave until butter is melted and fragrant. Alternatively, melt the mixture in a saucepan on the stovetop.
  • Grill the shrimp: Skewer shrimp and grill over direct heat for 2 minutes per side.
  • Once the shrimp are cooked, transfer them from the grill to a serving dish. Drizzle generously with melted garlic butter and garnish with chives. Serve hot.
