Grilled shrimp with fresh garlic and garlic salt. Marinate for max 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 0.13 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pound extra large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 wooden skewers
Instructions:
  • In a food processor, blend oil, lemon juice, garlic cloves, parsley, basil, salt, and pepper until smooth, about 20 seconds.
  • Transfer the marinade into a large resealable bag. Add the shrimp, coat them with the marinade by tossing, seal the bag, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Soak the wooden skewers in cold water while the shrimp marinates.
  • Heat up your outdoor grill on high and lightly oil the grate.
  • Take out shrimp from marinade and thread onto skewers, placing 5 to 6 shrimp on each skewer. Grill the shrimp on the preheated grill until they turn bright pink on the outside and are no longer translucent in the center, approximately 3 minutes on each side.
