Grilled fish marinated in garlic-citrus blend, topped with fresh salsa - a perfect combo.
Ingredients:
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 halibut or salmon steaks (about 3/4 lb)
  • 1/2 cup thick & chunky salsa
Instructions:
  • Combine the marinade ingredients in a shallow glass or plastic container. Add the fish steaks, ensuring they are well coated with the marinade by turning them several times. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes, remembering to turn the steaks once during that time.
  • Preheat gas or charcoal grill. Take fish out of marinade and discard the marinade.
  • Grill the fish over medium heat until it flakes easily with a fork, turning once during cooking, for 10 to 20 minutes. Sprinkle with pepper and serve with salsa.
