Grilled onion blossoms filled with creamy butter, perfectly tender and caramelized.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large sweet onion
  • 1.5 tablespoons butter
  • garlic salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Prepare your outdoor grill to reach high heat.
  • Peel the onion, slice it into 6 to 8 wedges, keeping the base intact. Gently separate the wedges and stuff them with butter, garlic salt, and ground black pepper.
  • Wrap the onion snugly in aluminum foil and grill over high heat for 45 minutes, or until the onion is soft, see-through, and slightly golden.
