Grilled turkey with a hint of sweet plum jam.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup plum jam
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry or Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
  • 2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 2 lb turkey breast tenderloins (about 6 tenderloins)
Instructions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, leaving out the turkey. Place the turkey in a shallow glass dish and pour half of the plum mixture over it, making sure to coat the turkey evenly. Cover the dish and refrigerate for 30 minutes, turning the turkey once. Keep the remaining plum mixture to serve with the turkey later.
  • Preheat gas or charcoal grill for indirect-heat cooking. Take the turkey out of the marinade, keeping the marinade aside for basting.
  • Grill the turkey indirectly over medium-high heat, turning and basting with marinade occasionally, for 25-30 minutes until the center reaches 170°F. Discard extra marinade. Warm the plum mixture and serve with sliced turkey.
