Succulent tiger prawns marinated in zesty tequila and lime, perfect for grilling as appetizers or a crowd-pleasing meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons tequila
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 15 large tiger shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 wooden skewers
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, tequila, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Transfer the mixture to a resealable plastic bag. Add shrimp, coat well with the marinade, remove excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 4 hours. In the meantime, soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.
  • Heat up your outdoor grill to medium-high heat and brush the grate with a light coat of oil.
  • Take shrimp out of the marinade and gently shake off any extra. Dispose of the rest of the marinade. Skewer the shrimp by piercing them once near the tail and once near the head.
  • Place the skewers on the hot grill and cook until the shrimp turn bright pink on the outside and are opaque in the center, which will take about 6 to 8 minutes.
