Ingredients:
  • 4 medium potatoes, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)
  • 2 tablespoons bacon flavor bits or chips
  • 2 medium green onions, sliced (2 tablespoons)
Instructions:
  • Prepare the grill for direct heat. Lay the potatoes on a large piece of heavy-duty foil. Season with salt, dot with butter, and top with cheese and bacon bits.
  • Wrap the potatoes tightly in foil, making sure to pierce the top once or twice with a fork to release steam. Grill the foil packet, seam side up, 4 to 6 inches from medium heat for 45 to 60 minutes until the potatoes are tender. Finish by sprinkling with onions before serving.
