Elevate your barbecue game with gourmet beef dishes.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons tequila
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 2 lb boneless beef top round steak, about 1 inch thick
  • 1 cup thick & chunky salsa
Instructions:
  • Combine marinade ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Use a fork to pierce both sides of the beef several times. Transfer the marinade to a shallow glass dish or a resealable plastic bag. Add the beef, ensuring it is coated evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, turning the beef occasionally, but no longer than 24 hours.
  • Preheat your grill for direct heat. Take the beef out of the marinade, saving the marinade. Grill the beef over medium heat for 20 to 25 minutes until it reaches medium doneness, basting with marinade and flipping once. Discard any leftover marinade.
  • Slice the beef thinly against the grain. Serve with salsa on the side.
