Grilled teriyaki salmon with apple-garlic marinade, topped with a flavorful homemade sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 0.5 cup apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, or more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 (6 ounce) fillets salmon
Instructions:
  • Combine teriyaki sauce, apple juice, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic, and pepper in a small bowl. Whisk until the marinade is thoroughly mixed.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a glass baking dish and generously coat them with the flavorful marinade. Cover the dish and let the fillets marinate in the fridge for 4 to 6 hours to enhance the delicious flavors.
  • Heat up your outdoor grill to medium heat and brush the grate lightly with oil.
  • Take the fillets out of the marinade, shaking off any extra. Transfer the marinade to a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Let it simmer on medium-low heat until it reduces, approximately 5 minutes.
  • Grill the fillets on high heat until the fish easily flakes with a fork, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  • Drizzle the reduced marinade over the fillets before serving.
