Serve up these succulent and flavorful ribs - guaranteed to please without any complaints!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary leaves or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crumbled
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine or grape juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 pounds pork country-style ribs, cut into serving pieces
Instructions:
  • In a 1 1/2-quart saucepan, warm oil over medium heat. Sauté rosemary and garlic in the fragrant oil until garlic turns golden; then, take the pan off the heat. Add in wine, sugar, salt, and pepper to enhance the flavors.
  • Place the pork in a shallow glass or plastic dish and generously coat it with the wine mixture. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours, making sure to turn the pork occasionally. Do not exceed marinating for 24 hours.
  • Position the drip pan under the grilling area, and surround the firebox with coals. Preheat the coals or gas grill for direct heat.
  • Take out pork from the marinade, keeping the marinade for later. Grill the pork covered over a drip pan, positioned 4 to 5 inches away from medium heat, for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Turn the pork occasionally and brush it with the reserved marinade. Cook until the pork is tender and has a slight pink color near the bone. Discard any leftover marinade.
