Savor this popular fish in zesty marinara sauce, pairs perfectly with linguine for a delightful meal.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 white onion, finely chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 pound haddock fillets
  • 1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, drained
  • 0.75 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously coat the bottom of a baking dish with olive oil.
  • Spread half of the onion and garlic evenly on the bottom of the baking dish, followed by half of the pasta sauce. Lay the haddock fillets in the dish, add tomatoes, and sprinkle with the remaining onion and garlic. Finish by covering everything with the remaining pasta sauce.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the fish flakes easily with a fork.
