Halloween Candy Brownies

Peanut butter brownies with a perfect balance of sweet and salty flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Vegetable oil, water and eggs called for on box for cakelike brownies
  • 1 cup mini pretzel twists, broken
  • 1 1/2 cups (from 8-oz bag) Reese’s™ peanut butter cups minis, coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting
  • 1/3 cup Reese’s™ Mini Pieces™ peanut butter candy in a crunchy shell
  • 1 tablespoon holiday-colored candy sprinkles, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously spray the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine the brownie mix, oil, water, and eggs in a large bowl, stirring with a spoon until thoroughly blended. Gently fold in pretzels and 1 cup of peanut butter cups minis, then spread the mixture evenly in a pan.
  • Bake for 24-26 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out nearly clean. Transfer to a cooling rack and let cool completely, for at least 1 hour.
  • Spread a generous layer of frosting on top. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of peanut butter cups minis, Reese's Mini Pieces, and colorful sprinkles. Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows for perfect portions.
