Delicious brownie pumpkin patch perfect for Halloween! Classic brownies topped with candy pumpkins, crushed Oreos for crunch. Fun family activity to decorate together.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Original Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
  • 1 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • 1 teaspoon Betty Crocker™ green gel food color
  • 4 Oreo chocolate sandwich cookies, finely crushed (about 1/3 cup)
  • 2 teaspoons Betty Crocker™ Brownie Decors Pumpkin Vine (from 2.9-oz container)
  • 16 candy pumpkins
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line a 9-inch square pan with foil, leaving a 2-inch overhang. Spray the foil with cooking spray. Prepare brownie batter according to package instructions and spread it in the pan.
  • Bake for 28-31 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out almost clean. Allow to cool completely on a rack for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Using the foil, gently lift the brownie out of the pan and peel the foil away. In a small bowl, mix together the frosting and food color until well combined. Take out 1 tablespoon of frosting and place it in a small resealable plastic bag; seal the bag partially. Cut off a small corner of the bag and set it aside.
  • Smooth the remaining frosting over the brownie, creating a thin even layer. Evenly sprinkle crushed cookies over the frosting in 4 rows, using about a generous tablespoon for each row. Scatter decorative sprinkles over the top. Arrange candy pumpkins in a grid formation of 4 rows by 4 rows. Pipe delicate green lines to represent vines, referring to the provided photo for guidance.
  • Place a candy pumpkin in the center of each brownie, then cut them into 16 pieces and store in an airtight container.
