Indulgent leftover Halloween candy brownies made with Snickers or Milky Way bars.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.75 cup butter, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate-coated caramel-peanut nougat candy (such as Snickers®), chopped, divided
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
  • Combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Then, add this butter mixture to the bowl with the flour mixture and mix until well combined.
  • Spread half of the batter in the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle half of the candy bar pieces on top. Spread the rest of the batter over the candy, ensuring it's fully covered.
  • Simply bake in the preheated oven for around 30 minutes, until the edges turn golden brown and the center is firm.
  • Once you take the brownies out of the oven, gently press the remaining candy bar pieces on top while the brownies are still warm. Allow the brownies to cool completely before serving, which should take around 30 minutes.
