Make adorable mummy cake pops for Halloween with Betty Crocker brownie mix and Rich & Creamy milk chocolate frosting.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Milk Chocolate Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box (for cakelike brownies)
  • 1/3 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Milk Chocolate Frosting
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup chopped Butterfinger™ candy bars (from 10-oz package)
  • 4 cups white candy melts or coating wafers, melted
  • 38 paper lollipop sticks
  • 76 candy eyes
  • Block of plastic foam
Instructions:
  • Prepare the brownie mix following the instructions on the box for cake-like brownies, using water, oil, and eggs. Allow to cool. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. Combine frosting and peanut butter in a small bowl until well blended. Crumble brownies into a large bowl, removing edges; mix in peanut butter candy. Add the frosting mixture and stir well. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on the cookie sheet. Refrigerate until firm.
  • Set aside 1 cup of melted candy. Dip the end of a lollipop stick about 1/2 inch into the remaining melted candy and insert it into a brownie ball, making sure not to go more than halfway. Repeat this process until all brownie balls have sticks. Place them back on the cookie sheet and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Take a few balls out of the fridge at a time, dip them in the melted candy, remove excess, and let them sit until the candy sets.
  • Pour the melted candy into a resealable plastic bag and seal it. Cut a small corner of the bag and pipe crisscross patterns onto the balls to create a mummy look. Quickly add the candy eyes. Stick the other end of the stick into a foam block and let it set.
