Transform Oreos into cute mummy cookies for a fun Halloween treat that's not too spooky for kids.
Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces white confectioners' coating, cut into pieces
  • 16 chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®)
  • 32 mini candy eyeballs
Instructions:
  • Melt candy melts in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth (1 to 3 minutes). Transfer a heaping tablespoon into a resealable plastic bag and keep it aside.
  • Individually, coat each cookie with candy melt using a butter knife, covering the top and sides. Transfer the cookies to wax paper to set.
  • Cut a small hole in one corner of the sealed plastic bag and drizzle stripes over the cookies in a free-flowing pattern. Embrace the charm of uneven and varied angles for a playful touch.
  • Quickly place two candy eyeballs on top of each cookie before the stripes have a chance to dry.
  • Let the candy coating set and firm up before serving. To speed up the process, chill the wax paper and cookies in the refrigerator briefly.
