Orange-colored pumpkin popcorn balls - a festive Halloween treat for all ages, perfect for parties. Versatile and fun!
Ingredients:
  • 5 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup chopped salted peanuts
  • 0.5 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 4 drops red food coloring
  • 3 drops yellow food coloring
  • 4 sticks red or black licorice, cut into thirds
Instructions:
  • Prepare a muffin pan by greasing it, then set it aside. Combine popcorn, candy corn, and peanuts in a large bowl and set aside.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until golden and bubbly. Combine marshmallows, red food coloring, and yellow food coloring to achieve a vibrant orange hue. Once the marshmallows are smooth, pour the mixture over the popcorn and mix gently to coat everything evenly with the sweet and colorful goodness.
  • Grease a spoon to fill the muffin cups. Insert a piece of licorice as the stem, and shape the popcorn around it. Allow to set for 10 to 15 minutes until firm, then pull out the pumpkins by their stems to admire your pumpkin patch!
