Delicious pasta loved by all ages.
Ingredients:
  • 375g penne rigate
  • 450g broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 250g sliced double-smoked ham, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 187.50 ml light evaporated milk
  • 187.50 ml grated reduced-fat tasty cheese
  • 2 egg yolks
Instructions:
  • Boil pasta in a large saucepan of salted water until tender. Add broccoli for the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain.
  • In a large, deep frying pan over high heat, heat oil until shimmering. Add garlic, ham, and onion, and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until onion is softened. Mix in pasta and broccoli, then lower the heat to low.
  • In a jug, combine milk, cheese, and egg yolks. Pour over cooked pasta and season with salt and pepper. Toss to evenly coat. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until heated through. Serve hot.
