Try these delicious ham, cheese, and pineapple scrolls for a bite-sized Hawaiian pizza experience, ideal for your child's party!
Ingredients:
  • 84.98 gm milk
  • 300.00 gm self-raising flour, plus extra for dusting
  • 80g butter, chilled, chopped
  • 10.00 gm caster sugar
  • 62.50 ml pizza sauce
  • 250.00 ml grated mozzarella
  • 100g sliced leg ham, chopped
  • 227g can pineapple pieces in juice, drained, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 220C/200C fan-forced, and generously grease a 12-hole muffin pan.
  • In a food processor, pulse flour, butter, and sugar until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Transfer to a bowl and make a well. Pour in milk and season with salt and pepper. Stir with a butter knife until a sticky dough forms. Turn out onto a floured surface and knead gently. Roll out dough with a floured rolling pin to create a 20cm x 40cm rectangle.
  • Spread the dough generously with savory pizza sauce, making sure to leave a 1cm border. Top the sauce with a generous sprinkle of gooey mozzarella cheese, salty ham, and sweet pineapple chunks. Give it a perfect pinch of salt and pepper for seasoning. Roll up the dough from one long edge to envelop the flavorful filling. Trim off the ends for a clean finish. Cut the roll into 12 equally sized slices, then place them cut-side up into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden and just firm to the touch, then let it sit in the pan for 5 minutes before carefully moving it to a wire rack lined with baking paper. Serve warm or cold.
