Ham and Asparagus Bundles with Hollandaise Sauce

Elegant asparagus bundles draped in savory ham, drizzled with luscious hollandaise. Ideal for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (.9 ounce) package hollandaise sauce mix (such as Knorr®)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 4 slices deli-style honey ham, sliced in half lengthwise
  • 0.5 teaspoon freeze-dried dill
Instructions:
  • Combine sauce mix and milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add butter and bring to a smooth boil, then simmer until thickened, around 1 minute. Allow to cool slightly before using.
  • Boil a pot of salted water and blanch asparagus for 3 minutes. Drain, cool under cold water, then pat dry on a cutting board with paper towels.
  • Take a slice of ham and wrap it around 4 asparagus spears. Place on a serving tray. Repeat with the rest of the asparagus and ham. Drizzle hollandaise sauce over the bundles and garnish with dill.
