Virginia ham-inspired salty, cheesy mix.
Ingredients:
- 6 cups Multi-Bran Chex™ cereal
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 cup cubed cooked ham
- 4 oz Swiss cheese, cut into 1/4x1-inch sticks
Instructions:
- Place the cereal in a large microwave-safe bowl.
- In a microwave-safe measuring cup, microwave butter, mustard, honey, and salt on High for 30-40 seconds until butter is melted and mixture is hot; then stir well.
- Drizzle the mixture over the cereal, ensuring it is well combined. Microwave the uncovered bowl on High for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every minute. Finish by sprinkling salt over the hot cereal.
- Spread the mixture on waxed paper or foil to cool. Once cooled, fold in the ham and cheese, then store covered in the refrigerator.
