Make ahead ham and cheese breakfast casserole, simply bake in the morning.
Ingredients:
  • 3 medium English muffins, split
  • 12 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 pound cooked ham, diced
  • 1.5 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onions
Instructions:
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray for easy removal of the final dish.
  • Place the English muffin halves in a single layer at the bottom of the baking dish.
  • In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and mustard until mixed. Pour this flavorful mixture over English muffins in a baking dish, then top with chopped ham and 1 cup of Cheddar cheese.
  • Wrap with foil and chill in the fridge overnight.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and let it bake until the eggs are fully set, usually around 30 to 35 minutes. Once done, sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese and chopped green onions on top. Then, slice and serve.
