Delicious brunch pizza with ham and eggs.
Ingredients:
  • 7g sachet dry yeast
  • 5.00 gm caster sugar
  • 1.20 gm salt
  • 500.00 ml plain flour
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 69.38 gm tomato paste
  • 175g shaved ham, roughly chopped
  • 375.00 ml grated tasty cheese
  • 6 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200C and grease a 30cm round pizza tray (refer to note). In a jug, mix 3/4 cup warm water with yeast, sugar, and salt. Whisk with a fork until everything is dissolved. Cover with plastic wrap and let it sit in a warm spot for 5 minutes until bubbles form on the surface.
  • Sift flour into a bowl, then add yeast mixture and oil to make a soft dough. Knead on a floured surface for 10 minutes until elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 25-30 minutes until doubled in size.
  • Punch dough down using your fist, then knead on lightly floured surface until smooth.
  • Roll dough into a 30cm round and place on prepared tray. Spread with tomato paste, top with ham, and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Create 6 small wells around the edge of the pizza, each the size of a 50 cent coin. Gently place 1 separated egg yolk into each well. Repeat with the rest of the eggs. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the pizza crust is crisp. Serve and enjoy!
