Irresistible ham and noodle casserole with tender egg noodles, ham, Swiss cheese, and creamy sauce topped with breadcrumbs.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups uncooked egg noodles
  • 2 cups diced cooked ham
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 0.25 cup dry bread crumbs
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
  • 1. In a large pot, bring lightly salted water to a rapid boil. 2. Add egg noodles and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for about 10 minutes until tender. 4. Drain the noodles.
  • Combine the noodles with ham, Swiss cheese, condensed soup, onion, and sour cream in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the mixture to the casserole dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  • Bake until the casserole is bubbly and the bread crumbs are golden brown, around 40 minutes in the preheated oven.
