Creamy chicken and ham noodle casserole with celery and melted cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup uncooked egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cooked, cubed chicken breast meat
  • 0.5 cup cooked, diced ham
  • 0.25 cup chopped celery
  • 3 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and lightly grease a medium baking dish.
  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add egg noodles and cook for 6 to 8 minutes until al dente. Drain.
  • In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter until bubbly. Stir in flour, then slowly whisk in milk. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly until thick and smooth. Remove from heat and mix in noodles, chicken, ham, celery, salt, and pepper. Spoon into prepared baking dish.
  • After baking for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, sprinkle with cheese and paprika, then bake for an additional 5 minutes. Serve hot!
