Golden fried ham served with flavorful red-eye gravy made with hot coffee.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33300000429153 cup oil
  • 1 (1 pound) smoked ham steak, cut into serving pieces
  • 1.25 cups brewed coffee
Instructions:
  • In a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, sear ham until browned on both sides. Set ham aside. Stir in coffee and salt, scraping up any browned bits. Simmer until reduced by 1/3. Serve over ham and biscuits.
