Homemade hamburger buns: easy, economical, and guaranteed to impress your guests!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups warm milk (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 0.25 cup margarine, melted
  • 0.25 cup warm water
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 2 (.25 ounce) packages instant yeast
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 6 cups all-purpose flour, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Combine milk, margarine, warm water, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Allow to rest for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Combine salt with flour until a soft dough forms. Shape the dough into 25 balls and space them 2 to 3 inches apart on baking sheets. Allow to rise for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Bake the rolls for 15 minutes until perfectly golden. Let them cool just a bit, then gently split them in half to generously fill with your choice of mouthwatering burgers.
