Hawaiian pizza pockets: savory ham and sweet pineapple in a convenient lunchbox treat.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2/3 cup very warm water (120°F to 130°F)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 1/2 cup canned pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1/2 cup finely shredded mozzarella cheese (2 oz)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 450°F, then line a cookie sheet with foil and spray it with cooking spray.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, very warm water, and olive oil in a medium bowl, stirring until just moistened. Allow to stand for 15 minutes.
  • Shape dough into a ball with a gentle knead. Separate dough into 8 portions. Flatten each portion and roll into 1/8-inch thick circles using a rolling pin. Arrange circles on a cookie sheet.
  • Layer each with a slice of torn ham, 1 tablespoon of pineapple, and 1 tablespoon of cheese. Fold over and seal by pinching the edges.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • For optimal enjoyment, serve hot or allow to cool completely. Then, tightly wrap in plastic wrap and freeze until needed.
