Hawaiian-style pizza with teriyaki chicken and pineapple, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 cup teriyaki marinade
  • 1 cooking spray
  • 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 0.75 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 (14 ounce) package refrigerated pizza crust
  • 10 slices Canadian bacon, quartered
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pinch dried oregano, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Let the chicken breasts soak in delicious teriyaki marinade in the fridge for 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Place the marinated chicken on the pan, discarding any excess marinade.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C), approximately 20 minutes. Let it rest for about 10 minutes before proceeding. Keep oven on.
  • Place drained pineapple tidbits on a layer of paper towels to absorb any extra juice.
  • Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet and generously spread the sauce on top.
  • Dice the chilled chicken into small pieces. Layer the pizza sauce with Canadian bacon, followed by the diced chicken, and then the pineapple. Sprinkle generously with mozzarella cheese and finish with a touch of oregano.
  • Bake until the cheese turns a light golden brown, about 15 to 17 minutes. Remove from the oven and slice into triangles.
