Healthy and effortless tilapia with light mayo and reduced butter.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 0.125 cup butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.125 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.125 teaspoon celery salt
  • 2 pounds tilapia fillets
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven broiler and prepare the broiling pan by greasing it or lining it with aluminum foil.
  • Combine Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, and lemon juice in a small bowl, adding dried basil, pepper, onion powder, and celery salt for flavor. Mix thoroughly and set aside. Place fillets in a single layer on the prepared pan.
  • To achieve a golden crust, broil fillets a few inches from the heat source for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip fillets and broil for an additional 2 to 3 minutes. Top with Parmesan mixture and broil until fish easily flakes with a fork, approximately 2 minutes.
