Transform rich hot chocolate with a kick of ginger and cayenne for a luxuriously spicy treat perfect for chilly days.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup whole milk
  • 0.25 cup chopped dark chocolate
  • 0.25 cup chopped milk chocolate (such as Dairy Milk)
  • 3 pinches ground ginger
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Combine milk in a double boiler over simmering water until hot and steaming. Reduce heat to low. Gradually add dark chocolate and milk chocolate, whisking until melted. Stir in ginger and cayenne once the chocolate is smooth.
  • Gently pour the melted chocolate into small-sized cups, being careful to wipe any steam off the bottom of the pan before pouring to avoid any drips.
