Ingredients:
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 green or red pepper
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary or thyme
  • 300 g dried pasta (pasta shapes or spaghetti)
  • 1 teaspoon bouillon powder optional
  • 1 x 400 g tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 2 x 180 g tins of tuna (275g drained weight)
Instructions:
  • Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, deseed and dice the pepper, and pick and finely chop the herb leaves. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat, add onion, and sauté for 5 minutes. Add garlic, pepper, herbs, and bouillon powder; cook gently for another 5 minutes until peppers are soft. Stir regularly. Pour in tomatoes, drain and flake the tuna, and cook for 10 minutes. Add the cooked pasta, mix well, and serve. For babies: Reserve baby's portion before adding bouillon powder.
