Exciting Asian flavors shine in this healthy and simple beef stir-fry.
Ingredients:
  • 80ml hoisin sauce
  • 24.40 gm fish sauce
  • 20.00 ml rice vinegar
  • 50g snowpea sprouts
  • 1 long red chilli, seeds removed, thinly sliced
  • 1 firmly packed cup coriander sprigs
  • 1 large green capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 18.40 gm sunflower or canola oil
  • 600g beef stir-fry strips
  • 4 spring onions, cut into 6cm lengths
Instructions:
  • Combine hoisin sauce, fish sauce, rice vinegar, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of boiling water in a small bowl. Toss half of the mixture with sprouts, chili, coriander, and capsicum in a separate bowl.
  • 1. Heat half of the oil in a large wok over high heat until it sizzles. Stir-fry half of the beef for 1 minute, set aside, and repeat with the rest of the oil and beef. 2. Return all the beef to the wok along with spring onion, stir-fry for 1 more minute, then add the remaining sauce and toss until well coated. 3. Serve with the salad.
