Soft buttery snowball cookies dusted in powdered sugar, ideal for festive occasions like Christmas and weddings.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar, divided, or more as needed
  • 0.25 cup fat-free sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fat-free milk
  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) while lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine butter, powdered sugar, sour cream, milk, and vanilla in a bowl until creamy. Stir in flour, salt, and cinnamon until well mixed. Fold in walnuts. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls and arrange on baking sheet.
  • Bake in the oven already heated to perfection for 18 to 20 minutes.
  • Roll the balls in the remaining powdered sugar immediately after taking them out of the oven.
