Festive nut butter cookies coated in sugar for holiday indulgence - just bite and savor!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.75 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C and prepare 2 baking sheets by lightly buttering them or lining them with parchment paper.
  • Combine butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Sift flour and salt, then mix into the butter mixture. Add pecans and combine. Dust hands with confectioners' sugar and shape dough into 1 inch balls.
  • Space the dough balls 2 inches apart on the baking sheets and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool on racks for 15 minutes, then coat with confectioners sugar.
