Delicious homemade sweet and savory breakfast sausage patties with ground pork, brown sugar, and sage. Perfect with eggs or in a breakfast sandwich!
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dried sage
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 0.125 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 2 pounds ground pork
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your fresh and flavorful ingredients.
  • Combine brown sugar, sage, salt, black pepper, marjoram, red pepper flakes, and cloves in a small bowl, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • In a large bowl, mix the pork with the spice mixture using your hands until fully combined. Shape the mixture into 6 patties.
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties until golden and crispy, around 5 minutes per side. Make sure they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) when tested with a thermometer.
  • Indulge in while piping hot!
