Quick and spicy homemade breakfast sausage patties, customizable heat level, perfect for immediate consumption or future freezer meals.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 teaspoon rubbed sage
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground marjoram
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix ground pork, sage, salt, crushed red pepper, marjoram, black pepper, onion powder, and thyme leaves until well combined. Shape into 10 small patties.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Cook patties in batches for 3 minutes on each side or until juices run clear and internal temperature reaches at least 160 degrees F (73 degrees C). Transfer cooked patties to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess grease.
