Create flavorful Italian sausage patties by blending seasoning mix with ground pork. Form into patties or cook on stove.
Ingredients:
  • 1.75 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1.25 teaspoons salt
  • 1.5 teaspoons fennel seeds
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • olive oil
Instructions:
  • In a spice grinder or mortar and pestle, blend parsley, salt, fennel, black pepper, garlic, Italian seasoning, minced onion, and red pepper flakes until finely crushed.
  • In a large bowl, combine pork with seasoning mix using your hands until well mixed. Shape into a log and cut into four 1/2-inch thick sausage patties.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage patties for 4 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F (73 degrees C).
