Decadent Nutella-filled baked donut muffins - easy and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 (13 ounce) jar chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, or more as needed
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1.5 cups sifted powdered sugar, or more as needed
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • In a large bowl, mix together 3/4 cup of sugar, milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the flour mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Spoon 2 tablespoons of batter into each muffin cup. Spoon 1 to 2 teaspoons of Nutella® into the center of each cup and top with 2 more tablespoons of batter until each cup is 3/4 full.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 22 minutes until edges and bottoms are golden brown. Be careful not to overbake. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before gently releasing the muffins from the tin while they are still warm.
  • In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in 10-second intervals in the microwave. In another small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together. Dip the donut muffins into the melted butter, then coat them with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Dip donut muffins into the glaze.
