"Whip up a delicious game meat or beef spread that's perfect for parties. Enjoy on crackers with cheese and zesty mustard sauce."
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar-based curing mixture (such as Morton® Tender Quick®)
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1 tablespoon mustard seed
Instructions:
  • Combine ground beef and water in a large bowl until fully mixed. Add garlic powder, curing mixture, liquid smoke, and mustard seed. Mix well, using your hands for best results. Shape the mixture into two rolls and wrap in aluminum foil. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Uncover the beef, pierce the bottom of the rolls, and arrange them on a roasting rack set in a shallow pan to capture the juices.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Allow to cool, then wrap in plastic or foil, and refrigerate until chilled before slicing.
