Savory homemade turkey chorizo, versatile for tacos, burritos, enchiladas, or eggs.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Combine turkey, vinegar, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt, cumin, coriander, oregano, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl. Mix thoroughly by hand, then refrigerate for optimal flavor for 8 hours to overnight.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Cook chorizo until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, for 8 to 10 minutes.
