Quick and flavorful sweet chicken dish perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients:
  • 18.40 gm vegetable oil
  • 1 red onion, halved, thinly sliced lengthways
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 3 large single chicken breast fillets, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tsp finely grated fresh ginger
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) tamari (wheat-free soy sauce)
  • 48.80 gm oyster sauce
  • 42.90 gm honey
  • 20.00 ml sesame oil
  • 2 x 250g pkts jasmine rice in 90 Seconds
  • 3 bunches baby pak choy, quartered lengthways
Instructions:
  • For a burst of flavor, sizzle the vegetable oil in a sizzling hot wok. Toss in the onion and garlic, stir for 1 minute. Then, introduce the chicken and ginger, stir for another minute until aromatic.
  • Combine the tamari, oyster sauce, honey, and sesame oil, then season with pepper. Stir-fry until the chicken is fully cooked, about 8 minutes.
  • Heat the rice according to the instructions on the packet.
  • Place the pak choy in a heatproof bowl and cover it with boiling water, then drain.
  • Plate the rice, pak choy, and chicken evenly in serving dishes. Enjoy your delicious meal.
