Honey coconut baked bananas: a deliciously simple and elegant dish for dessert or breakfast.
Ingredients:
  • 1 banana
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sweetened flaked coconut
  • 2 tablespoons whipped cream (such as Reddi-Whip®)
Instructions:
  • Trim the ends of the banana, slice it in half lengthwise, and place it cut-side down on a sheet of aluminum foil on a baking sheet.
  • Cut the banana with shallow 1/4-inch incisions every 1 inch. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with coconut.
  • Preheat countertop convection oven to "turbo" setting. Bake until coconut turns golden brown, approximately 5 minutes. Serve topped with a dollop of whipped cream.
