Crispy golden chicken tossed in honey for a sweet and savory flavor explosion.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (4 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 packet chicken bouillon granules
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 quart vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
  • Season chicken with a pinch of salt and pepper, then generously coat each piece with sweet honey.
  • Combine garlic powder, chicken bouillon granules, and flour in a shallow dish. Coat honey-coated chicken pieces in the flour mixture until fully covered.
  • Pour oil into a large, heavy skillet to a depth of 1 inch and heat over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken until it is fully cooked and the juices run clear, approximately 5 minutes on each side. Use an instant-read thermometer near the bone to ensure it reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
