Homemade crunchy granola with peanuts, honey, and vanilla, baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups quick cooking oats
  • 0.5 cup chopped peanuts
  • 0.25 cup wheat germ
  • 0.33333334326744 cup honey
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons warm water
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a low 250 degrees F (120 degrees C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  • Mix together oats, peanuts, and wheat germ in a large bowl.
  • Combine honey, brown sugar, vegetable oil, water, salt, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Mix thoroughly, then pour over the oats and stir to combine. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet.
  • Bake uncovered for 1 hour, gently stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool before serving.
